For this song, I wanted to leave space for a vocalist.
I was intending for something to sound a little hip-hoppy, but I do get bored of 4/4 timings quite quickly, so extended this to a 5/4.
When I wrote this, I was in a dark place and wanted this to be expressed. So after the intro, I wanted to kick in with a dirty couple of bars, but the transition wouldn't vibe so included the one-time fill at the end of the intro. From there on, the rest of the track seemed to flow nicely.
There are a couple of samples of my daughter once again in this track - the weird vocal after the break, and the hard chops towards the end, as well as some design with the bass sounds.
